Exclusive distillery events
We are the only distillery able to offer exclusive use of our distillery including an exclusive dining experience amongst the stills themselves for up to 20 guests. You could then retreat to our cosy yet sophisticated Legacy Bar for a dram from our expertly crafted tasting wheel.
We can sit up to 80 for a formal dinner in our Cloister area and if you are having a larger event we can accommodate you in a marquee in the Abbey grounds.
We also know that a lot of the best parties don’t involve much sitting down so we have plenty of spaces to get your dancing shoes on. Our unusually decorated Apothecary is striking and could double up as your own cocktail bar, whilst the Visitor Centre is ideal for dancing, drinks receptions or champagne and canapes for up to 120 guests and provides a sleek yet historical backdrop.
The Cloister forms one of the most beautiful parts of the Visitor Centre with its graceful curved roof juxtaposed against the stately fifty-two foot oak table. The Cloister can accommodate up to eighty guests for banquet-style dining under gentle candlelight, making it ideal for opulent dinner parties. The table can be decorated to whatever your tastes may be, punctuated with artefacts from the Distillery’s history, it does look particularly magnificent with an abundance of ivy and flowers woven down the centre.
The Chapter House
The Chapter House is one of our most versatile spaces catering for everything from business meetings to ceilidh nights. The walls are used to display exhibitions of artwork from our finest local artists and the space can seat 60 people theatre-style or 40 class-room style. We offer a day-delegate rate for our corporate guests to include the venue hire, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.
Our pretty courtyard is a great space for ‘street food’ vendors and truly informal dining for an evening reception
The Legacy Bar
The cosy yet sophisticated Legacy Bar overlooks the ruins of the Abbey and the Courtyard and is the ideal setting for a drinks reception and cocktail parties and it can be as formal or relaxed as you require. The impressive oak bar stands at the centre of the room and we can cater for all tastes with a large selection of whiskies, wines and of course our own Aqua Vitae cocktails.
The Apothecary is an unusual room that is a favourite of many of our visitors. The stunningly decorated Apothecary can double up as your own cocktail bar, with a selection of beers and wines or you can watch as we shake up an array of Aqua Vitae cocktails in the very room where it was invented. The Visitor Centre is ideal for dancing or drinks receptions with champagne and canapes for up to 120 guests.
Perhaps our most versatile space which offers a large, light filled area for drinks receptions and dancing into the wee small hours. The Atrium provides ample room for casual, refectory style seating along with an area for a five-piece band, even leaving enough spinning space for a high speed Strip-the-Willow.
Private Dining Options
If you are requiring a more private or intimate space, we can set up in the Dining Room in Lindores Abbey House for your business meeting or conference. We are able to provide projectors and portable flip charts and can provide you with continental breakfasts and lunches.
Team Building Days
We offer an extremely unique venue for our team-building days, the ruined abbey of Lindores! Gathering amidst the beautiful sandstone walls and ivy you can toss cabers, hurl shot puts and run races in your very own mini Highland games – we work with a selection of events companies to tailor an extraordinary team building day suited to you.
After all that exertion you are also ideally located right opposite the Legacy Bar where you can enjoy a hard-earned victory (or commiseration!) drink. The Abbey is also the perfect place for al fresco dining.FIND OUT MORE
