Exclusive Use of the Distillery
We are the only distillery able to offer you the entire distillery for your private event.
Perhaps you would like an exclusive dining experience amongst the stills themselves (for up to 20 guests), or you could enjoy a magical Apothecary Dinner. You could then retreat to our cosy yet sophisticated Legacy Bar for a dram from our expertly crafted tasting wheel.
Alternatively we have plenty of spaces if you need more room for bigger parties. Our unusually decorated Apothecary is striking and could double up as your own cocktail bar, whilst the Visitor Centre is ideal for dancing, drinks receptions or champagne and canapes and provides a sleek yet historical backdrop for up to 120 guests.
The Cloister
The Cloister forms one of the most beautiful parts of the Visitor Centre with its graceful curved roof and stately fifty-two foot oak table.
The Cloister can accommodate up to eighty guests for banquet-style dining under gentle candlelight, making it ideal for opulent dinner parties. The table can be decorated to whatever your tastes may be, punctuated with artefacts from the Distillery’s history, it does look particularly magnificent with an abundance of ivy and flowers woven down the centre.
The Apothecary
The Apothecary can double up as your own cocktail bar, or you can watch as we shake up an array of Aqua Vitae cocktails in the very room where it was invented.
Apothecary Dinners
Private dining in the Apothecary is on an exclusive-use basis, allowing your guests to enjoy the Apothecary’s magical atmosphere undisturbed, after the distillery has closed to the public.
You can choose your menu from some of the finest produce available in Scotland and we can help you to choose wines, drams and drinks, as well as entertainment and nearby accommodation.
The Courtyard
Our courtyard is a great space for ‘street food’ vendors and has its own fully equipped outdoor bar and seating areas with warm blankets and sheepskin throws – providing a lovely sociable space.
The Legacy Bar
The Legacy Bar overlooks the ruins of the Abbey and is the ideal setting for a drinks reception and cocktail parties.
We can cater for all tastes with a large selection of whiskies, wines and of course our own Aqua Vitae cocktails.
Our Legacy Bar is also the perfect place for Whisky and Chocolate tastings, hosted by one of our knowledgeable tour guides. We take you through a range of drams, giving you the full tasting experience and have a number of packages to choose from, starting from £25 per person.
The Atrium and Visitors Centre
Perhaps our most versatile space which offers a large, light filled area for birthday and anniversary parties, drinks receptions and dancing.
The Atrium provides ample room for casual, refectory style seating along with an area for a five-piece band, even leaving enough spinning space for a high speed Strip-the-Willow, and the Visitor Centre is ideal for dancing or drinks receptions with champagne and canapes for up to 120 guests.
The Refectory
The Refectory can cater for everything from business meetings to ceilidh nights.
The walls are often used to display exhibitions of artwork from our finest local artists and the space can seat 60 people theatre-style or 40 class-room style. We offer a day-delegate rate for our corporate guests to include the venue hire, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.
Funeral Teas
Lindores Abbey Distillery can provide you and your loved ones with private use of our Refectory for up to 60 guests, or our Legacy bar for up to 30 guests.
Funeral teas are served on sharing platters and tiered china and start from £12.50 per head.
A paid bar can be provided on request.
