Afternoon Teas are back! To make everyone as comfortable as possible we are going to have them on set weekends each month, in 2 sittings at 12pm-2pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm.

Our whisky and champagne afternoon teas are served in the beautiful surroundings of the Legacy Bar, with its glorious views of Lindores Abbey and the river Tay beyond. They are a fantastic way to celebrate a special occasion, such as an engagement, Mother’s Day, a birthday celebration or even as a sophisticated Hen party.

You can choose when purchasing the voucher whether you prefer to receive a physical Gift Voucher to send directly to the recipient, or if you would prefer to be emailed a Gift Letter with details of the voucher.

Delicious treats include finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones with cream and jam, delicate small cakes and a choice of fragrant teas. All of our produce is freshly made and locally sourced, and we try to accommodate any dietary requirements required. Please call to discuss specific dietary requirements as all of our afternoon teas are made to order.

Many visitors then like to take a stroll around the historic Abbey ruins to help to finish off the afternoon, or take one of our tours before they eat.

TO BOOK THE AFTERNOON TEA:

Afternoon Tea Gift Vouchers can be used at the distillery or over the phone, but you must book in advance by calling 01337 842547 or email stephanie@lindoresabbeydistillery.com with your preferred time slot and date. Not able to be used online.

Due to social distance measures we will be operating a strictly PRE BOOKED SYSTEM ONLY. All bookings MUST be made in advance by emailing stephanie@lindoresabbeydistillery.com and we politely request that guests adhere to the current government guidelines with relation to social distancing and mixing households. As part of this we are required to ask each party to complete a Track and Trace information form. Please remember that you must still remain 2 metres apart from them and so will not be able to share a table.

THE RULES: a wee reminder about social distancing and household mixing rules. We should all be trying to adhere to social distancing 2m guidelines even when mixing, unless they are part of a ‘bubble’. As our teachers used to say ‘we aren’t making up these rules for fun, they are for your (and our staff’s) safety” , so please be kind to our team when they respectfully ask you to adhere to them. As a business we have a responsibility to our staff and ourselves to keep everyone as safe as possible and if we are not able to do this, we will not be able to open to the public.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Non-refundable or transferable.
If physical vouchers are chosen they will be mailed out to the shipping address provided, at a cost of £1.50
If you choose to have the Gift Letter emailed, it will be emailed to the email address provided on the order.
Vouchers are for one time use and must be presented at time of use.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash nor credited to any account.
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.
Vouchers will not be accepted if torn or defaced.
Cannot be used online.
Valid for 24 months from purchase.
