APOTHECARY EXPERIENCES

Craft your own unique spirit in an immersive Apothecary Experience at our distillery and take home a hand-labelled bottle to savour.

Learn the Art of Distilling – With our Apothecary Experience, you will not only have the opportunity to make your own unique Aqua Vitae, but also gain a deeper understanding of the art and history of distilling. We will guide you through the process, sharing our knowledge and passion for spirits. using a range of herbs, spices, and spirit tinctures from our abbey gardens.

Personalized Tasting Notes – As you craft your own Aqua Vitae, we will help you create personalized tasting notes based on the flavours and ingredients you choose. This will not only make your spirit one-of-a-kind, but also allow you to fully appreciate and understand its complexity.

Take Home a Hand-Labelled Bottle – After your two and a half hour experience, you will leave with a 20cl bottle of your own hand-labelled Aqua Vitae to enjoy at home. This bottle will be a special reminder of your immersive Apothecary Experience and the unique spirit you created.

Chocolate and Whisky Pairings

If you enjoy both whisky and chocolate and often have the two together, then you’ll be pleased to know that experts at Pittenweem Cocoa Tree have partnered with us to bring you two different chocolate and whisky pairings.

The sessions can be booked to suit you and your party. Choose from –

  • Lindores Whisky and Chocolate Pairing. This unique experience will combine 4 Lindores drams with 4 artisan chocolates, a cocoa bean to cleanse the palate and you also receive a mini tour of the distillery. £70.00 per person.

  • The Distillery Casks and Chocolate Pairing. This includes a Private tour, tasting and hand-made chocolate pairing, with 4 Distillery Exclusive drams, 4 artisan chocolates, and a cocoa bean to cleanse the palate. £80.00 per person.
