Thanks to all who visited us in the months we reopened. We hope to welcome you back to the Distillery as soon as we’re able!
Contact us for information about small weddings.
We are still able to send out orders, so you can support us by buying Aqua Vitae, New Make Spirit, or our Memberships and of course Elliot our cask custodian will be on hand to chat to interested parties about 2020 whisky casks.

- TOURS – From July 2020 we shall be hosting small pre-booked whisky and history tours and tastings within the visitor centre and abbey ruins. The Visitor Centre is not open to the public however.
- The tours will be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1130 / 1300 and 1430.
- The tours will be £10 per person and will include a Guidebook and tasting. Parts of the distillery will not be open to the public, but we have prepared a series of films that will tell you all about the production of whisky at this historic site.
- THE RULES: a wee reminder about social distancing and household mixing rules. Currently we are only allowed to mix with up to six other people from no more than two households (including your own household but excluding children of 12 and under) and we should all be trying to adhere to social distancing 2m guidelines even when mixing, unless they are part of a ‘bubble’. In addition, it is mandatory that visitors to the distillery and courtyard must wear their masks whenever they are not seated at a table for eating and drinking. As our teachers used to say ‘we aren’t making up these rules for fun, they are for your (and our staff’s) safety” , so please be kind to our team when they respectfully ask you to adhere to them. As a business we have a responsibility to our staff and ourselves to keep everyone as safe as possible and if we are not able to do this, we will not be able to open to the public.

DOG FRIENDLY DISTILLERY
We are a very dog friendly distillery so registered assistance dogs are very welcome on site, as are any four legged friends, and we have water bowls outside for them. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome to accompany you on your distillery tour as long as the rest of the party is happy to have them along. We have even laid an extra bit of flooring to ensure the stillroom floor doesn’t hurt their paws!
Disabled parking is available 5 metres from our entrance. The Apothecary and Visitor Centre are all on one level with disabled toilets. We have a lift available to the second floor and Legacy Bar.
At our Events and Weddings we always ask for dietary requirements and our chef goes to great lengths to prepare special dishes for these guests. For our Afternoon Teas, Cheese and Meat Platters and at our BBQ’s we will always do our best to provide gluten free options plus we always make sure we use stock in the soup that doesn’t contain gluten or any form of meat or fish. If you have any other specialised dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate them.
If you are traveling around Scotland and venturing to our beautiful part of Fife to visit our distillery, you may be needing somewhere to stay, and we have selected a number of nearby hotels and self catering accommodation options for you to choose from.ACCOMMODATION
We have a 8 seater fully insured Minibus which we can use to transport visitors to the distillery for special events, so if you are interested in finding out more contact us on email@example.com
