We are now taking bookings for our  whisky and champagne afternoon teas.  Served in the atmospheric surroundings of the Legacy Room with its glorious views of Lindores Abbey and the river Tay beyond, these delicious treats will include  finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones with cream and jam, delicate small cakes and a choice of fragrant teas.  A crisp chilled glass of champagne or a generous dram accompanies this feast, topped off by a stroll around the historic abbey ruins to help to walk off the calories!

The Lindores teas will be served between 3.00pm and 5.00pm and are available daily at a cost of £25.00 per person and booking is essential as spaces are limited.  Please contact Julie on 01337 842 547 or [email protected] to book or to purchase a gift voucher.

Whisky Tours commence on the 6th October and will run three times a day. 11.30am/1.00pm/ 2.30pm. Please call 01337 842547 or contact [email protected] to book a tour.

Join us in the Apothecary with our Apothecary Tim. These experiences offer a fantastic chance to get “hands on” in making your own delicious version of Aqua Vitae using herbs, spices and spirit essences. These sessions last two and a half hours and include a distillery tour and tasting as well as a 20cl bottle of your own Aqua Vitae, hand labelled and ready to take away and enjoy at home. Limited spaces and strictly by prior appointment, these tours cost £75.00 per person. Maximum 8 people per session.

If it is a light lunch or a nice cup of tea and scone Lindores welcomes everyone.  A small menu of homemade soups and fresh local bread,  Mr C’s pies and a selection of homemade goods.  Come join us for a tea or coffee, we look forward to having you.

Autumn/winter opening times:

The Spiritual home and distillery: Wednesday- Sunday 10.30am -5.00pm

We offer five different options of dining area for a variety of events. The Cloisters form one of the most beautiful parts of the Visitor Centre with its graceful curved roof juxtaposed against the stately 52 foot oak table. This can sit 60 guests for banquet style dining under gentle candlelight making it ideal for opulent dinner parties. For a less formal gathering or a more intimate meal the Chapter House can seat up to 40 guests and our rustic barn has been tried and tested by friends and family alike for lively dinners and casual lunches.

Exclusive distillery events

If you are searching for something completely different to truly wow your guests then we have the perfect setting for your event. We are the only distillery to offer a dining experience amongst the stills themselves for up to 20 guests. You could then retreat to our cosy yet sophisticated bar for a dram from our expertly crafted tasting wheel.

We know that a lot of the best parties don’t involve much sitting down so we have plenty of spaces to get your dancing shoes on. Our unusually decorated Apothecary is striking and could double up as your own cocktail bar, whilst the Visitor centre is ideal for dancing,  drinks receptions or champagne and canapes. A sleek yet historical backdrop.

Come and meet the team with your ideas and we will guide you around and accommodate to your needs.

Lindores Abbey has such a beautiful backdrop for your perfect day.  Our rustic ruins are the perfect backdrop to any wedding, that will also create the perfect photos on your day. Setting up a marquee or having your reception in distillery itself there are many options to offer.

Lindores would love to host your big day, if  you would like more information please do not hesitate to ask.
